Next Time You Visit the Corvette Museum, Check Out the Sinkhole Cars

In February this year, the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Ky., was stricken when a massive 40-foot sinkhole opened up the floor of the facility and swallowed several of the Corvettes that were on exhibit. At one point, the museum decided to preserve part of the sinkhole as a tourist attraction, but unfortunately that idea was nipped in the bud when museum officials realized that keeping it open would cost over $1 million and require expensive reinforcements.
